Dr. Travis Brown is an Associate Professor in the Integrative Physiology and Neuroscience (IPN) department at Washington State University (WSU). As a neuroscientist, Dr. Brown specializes in using preclinical models in rodents to investigate the neural mechanisms underlying substance use disorders, eating disorders, and pain. The Brown lab employs a multidisciplinary approach, utilizing electrophysiological, imaging, and behavioral techniques to explore these complex conditions. Through their research, Dr. Brown aims to advance the understanding of these disorders and contribute to the development of effective treatments, bridging the gap between basic science and clinical application.
