Dr. Lisa Akiyama is a board-certified pediatric neurologist who specializes in pediatric epilepsy. Dr. Akiyama’s goal in treating epilepsy and its comorbidities is to allow our children to live and enjoy their childhood to its fullest. She is dedicated to being a team with patients and their families on their unique medical journeys. Clinical interests include refractory epilepsy, epilepsy surgery, neurocognitive outcomes of patients with epilepsy, and brain mapping.
